Château Vaudreuil

The Château Vaudreuil came to us with a very specific brand guide and one simple ask, "to make it feel like a book." Unfortunately, instead of choosing to go with a Custom Design through Amadeus they went with the Essential Platform which is more economical but also has more limitations (unless you have a designer like me who doesn't mind stretching the rules every now and then).

I used some custom css to add a shadow along the left side of the site to act as the spine of the book and also used css and an svg image to add a page curl look to the bottom right corner. While they are subtle touches they were enough to make the client happy and to keep the site looking elegant in order to match the elegance of the hotel itself.
